The 2020 Heritage Cup has been postponed to the weekend of October 9-12 and is expected to be held in the New York / Long Island area. More details surrounding the weekend’s events and participating international (and NCAA college teams!) will be announced in the coming weeks.

We know the international lacrosse community is chomping at the bit to get back on the field. The move to the Fall allows the event to continue our tradition in 2020. In 2019, the men’s division featured teams representing Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Philippines, Poland and Puerto Rico, with several other programs expressing interest.

Last year’s U-15 division debuted with teams representing Iroquois, Israel, and Puerto Rico as well as Rising Sons representing the United States.

In addition to the men’s and U-15 divisions, the 2020 event will feature a women’s division for the first time.

The tournament is primarily an opportunity for US-based athletes to contribute to the development of international lacrosse by raising awareness, funds and participating in equipment drives.
